Infectious diseases are responsible for millions of deaths worldwide and this number is increasing by the day with newer rising variants. Pandemics like SARS-CoV-2 could be catastrophic for the world. With the development of vaccines, this number can be reduced but the already infected population can prolong the circulation of these infectious diseases.

To change this, we are developing India’s first in class, multi-modal antiviral therapeutics and vaccines against various human pathogens. We have received Biotechnology Ignition Grant 18 from BIRAC-DBT, Govt. of India. (link to C-CAMP News (List of BIG 18 Awardees )
